Accessories Company Claims GTA 6 to Debut on PC in Early 2026

The release date for Grand Theft Auto 6 on consoles remains uncertain, but a game peripheral company has hinted that the PC debut could happen in early 2026.
Rockstar’s upcoming installment in the series is set for a console release this fall. However, the developer and publisher Take-Two are keeping details under wraps, especially regarding the PC version. Take-Two previously mentioned that Rockstar would make further announcements in due time, hinting at a potential GTA 6 PC release. Now, Corsair Gaming, a PC accessories company, has suggested that the game might arrive on PC early next year.
During a recent financial update, Corsair Gaming’s financial VP Ronald van Veen mentioned, “GTA 6 is probably the one everyone is talking about. And we’ll get a glimpse of that, I think, later on in the year for console. My understanding now, it’s going to come out in the fall for console, and then early 2026 for PC.”
If this prediction holds true, it would be a relatively quick transition to PC compared to previous Rockstar releases. For instance, Red Dead Redemption was initially released in 2010 for PS3 and Xbox 360 before coming to PC last year.
Regarding the console launch, Take-Two’s CEO Strauss Zelnick expressed confidence in ensuring GTA 6 works on Microsoft’s less powerful Xbox Series S console. Zelnick assured that the team would find ways to support various platforms despite differences in technology levels, emphasizing their expertise in adapting to different systems.
